A new tradition is born
Our first Christmas market in 2022 was an instant success. With over 5,000 visitors and 50 exhibitors, we created an atmospheric place where laughter and joy filled the air. Visitors could enjoy horse and carriage rides, a spectacular fire show, and a breathtaking atmosphere with thousands of marshals lighting up the area.
In our effort to recreate an old-fashioned and rural Christmas market, we put great emphasis on using natural materials for our decorations. It is a market created with and for our visitors, where every detail exudes tradition and warmth.
Christmas Market 2023: Bigger and Better
This year, 2023, the Christmas market at Mönarps Gård is growing even more. We welcome over 90 exhibitors from all over Sweden, especially from western Sweden and Skaraborg. Artisans of all kinds will showcase their artwork and skills. Kids can pet mini ponies, ride a horse and carriage, and we also offer knightly games combined with a fire show.
In addition to experiencing crafts and entertainment, visitors can enjoy Christmas delicacies such as lussekatter, mulled wine, Christmas must, gingerbread, and Christmas ham sandwiches. Our Christmas market is not just an event, it is an experience that we hope will become a long-lasting tradition.
